Bastida de les Alcusses Vajilla (Moixent, Valencia)

Vitrina 76
Pottery from an Iberian village of the classic period consists of a wide typological repertoire of locally produced and imported containers. Among the former, are plates, cups, bottles or jugs with oxidant firing and painted decoration (right), while the latter are Greek-production plates and cups with black glazed surfaces (left). These came to La Bastida as part of trading networks between groups on a Mediterranean scale.
